Should the bathroom and bedroom decor match?

I’m “re-doing” our bathroom (which is in our bedroom). By re-doing I simply mean new bath mats, shower, curtain, and towels. The decor in our bedroom is blues. I’m curious if I should try to match the bathroom to the bedroom. My instict says thats going to be way too much blue, but I’m afraid if I do something completely different to the bathroom it’s going to seem tacky. I was thinking of doing the bathroom in reds and purples, but darker colors since the bedroom is mostly light blues. What do you think? Or what’s the norm?
We don’t have natural light in our bathroom since we live in an apt. we have 2 windows in our bedroom and that’s it as far as natural. In our bathroom we have one side that’s all mirrors with around 4 huge lights lining the mirrors at the top

Keep it simple. You want the colors from the master bedroom into the bathroom to just sort of flow. No, they do not need to be a perfect match, but it would be best to keep it within the same color family.

You could even go with white, which is actually a good color to use in the bathroom because you can bleach them. You could use mainly white towels, but a few pretty blue decorative hand towels. It would look real pretty with a large white towel folded over the towel rack with a nice dark blue hand towel over top that.

Then just add a few splashes of blue with the accents. A picture or some candles. If you have tie-backs on the shower curtains use a pretty blue ribbon instead.

I love the look of blue and white together. It gives such a clean and simple look. Which is perfect for a bathroom.

Good Luck,
Jill Marie

Shapes & Designs

Talking about shapes, irregular shapes are not preferred in small vessel sinks, but otherwise, commonly available shapes are square, rectangle , round and oval. A modern touch to the designs and shapes them makes more stylish to look at. But utility wise, irregular designs often take up more space in smaller bathrooms. Branded models are creative masterpieces with trustworthy quality and world class features.

Disadvantages of Small Vessel Sinks

But at the same time, there are certain disadvantages associated with the small vessel bathroom sinks in terms of utility. Most of these sinks do not have a lot of depth. This often results in spilling of water while using them. To ensure that there is no spilling of water while washing hands or during any other use, it is important to check the depth of these small vessel sinks. A decent depth would result in dry bathrooms with stylish sinks and more space.
