I’m redecorating my apartment.?


I have a small one bedroom apartment. I have had to same decor for 5 years and I want a change. I want to make it fun and girly, but mature enough to not make a guy cringe at the sight of it. I’m thinking painting the walls lime green in the bathroom and having pink accessories with towels that have green specks. The toilet, shower, and sink are all white and the counter top is white marble. I have no idea what to do with the other rooms. I want to paint and take down all the decor, but keep the furniture. I have cocoa colored furniture and slate and black tables in the living room. All my appliances in the kitchen are white and the counter top is hunter green (which I absolutely hate!) All the floors are shades of tan with the same carpet in the living room and bedroom and linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom. Keep in mind that the rooms are not that big so even bold or bright colors are not going to be a that big a deal.

Okay here’s what I think you should do. Paint the walls a creamy light brown in the living room so then they wont cringe at the sight of it and so that when the light bounces off of it, it will look really pretty. Then in the bathrooms you can paint the walls any color because its yours and you can do whatever. or what some people do is paint the wall in the back one color and then leave the other walls like white or light gray. It would look really pretty and any guy would like that. Just an idea.
