A chinese lion statue Please take a moment to listen to my introduction!

My name is Karen M. Emery, and I am the owner of Karen Emery Designs a South Easton Massachusetts based design company. I am excited to provide my services to the community. My interest in interior design started over twenty five years ago in ninth grade at Oliver Ames High School. After high school I selected Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts to follow my dream and get a Degree in Interior Design. I continued my education at Boston Architectural Center, Boston, Mass and the American School of Drapery in Granbury, Texas as well as Trans Designs where I received a Key Decorator Award and a Pacesetter Award in 1990 for design. Working in Boston with two major design firms gave me the experience to start my own business in 1986.

I have decorated many homes and offices including the Presidents Club for Continental Airlines as well as becoming an instructor for Newbury College. I have formed many meaningful relationships with my clients throughout my career. There is nothing better than watching a client's face when they get to see their newly designed space for the first time. I teach my clients how to decorate by plan and not by chance.

My business activities include producing, directing and hosting a weekly television show called "Visual Coordinating" and guest speaking on a monthly radio show on WBET AM radio. My business achievements have been featured in Design times Magazine and the Boston Herald "Home of the Week." I enjoy organizing, computers and being involved in local Woman’s Business Network.
